And another exhibition coming up! Dutch Dolls is working on an installation for the exhibition Rooodkapje (Little Red Riding Hood). We're making a hugh grandmother-shoebox-house! Rooodkapje is an interactive exhibition for childeren aged 4 -12 years. Place to be is Het Gebouw in Leidsche Rijn, from February 22 till april 17 2008. More info at the Villa Zebra website. |

My Dutch Doll counterpart Geeske de Graaff will soon put on show the beautiful paintings she's been working on for several years now. She's asked befriended artists (all girls) to join her exhibiton BUGS 'N CANDY. These befriended artists are Margarita Kouvatsou, B.I.C., Ybekun, Denise Collignon, Tanja Stomp, Biefstuk and me... The opening ' a Sunday detox/retox' is March 2 from 15.00 till 19.00 at Singersweatshop. Hoogstraat 170 (above the Bram Ladage) in Rotterdam. |

The rock 'n roll animals I created for About's record sleeve, plus some BRAND NEW WORKS will be part of the exhibition GROW UPS in Corrosia, Almere! The opening is at February 9 and the exhibition will be up till March 2.

Bye Bye Rotterdam, bye bye Willem Buytewechstraat... I recently moved to BERLIN! It will be my new home town for the next couple of months, although I'll keep traveling back and forth to Holland every now and then to continue working on Dutch Dolls. We got a new studio! It's in a squat, right in the center of Rotterdam! It's briliant!! |

Jeezzz, it was about time I updated this site!! I haven't been sitting still though! I hope you've been checking the Dutch Dolls site, 'cause there is plenty of stuff going on there. The last couple of months I've worked in various places (a.o. at the Parade), I collaborated on an animation, and of course I've been illustrating. I added some of these new works to my porfolio. Lots of things happening at the Dutch Dolls front... We have new cute little buttons available and two new retailers: SHOPPER in Rotterdam and MARKOVIEC in Wageningen. Our installation 'Is er een dokter in de zaal?' will be on show in Utrecht and we will be participating in the exhibition 'Art In' in Hoofddorp. |

Due to VANDALISM (!!!) we had to replace our painting 'Pas op voor de hond' ('Beware of the Dog') in Odessa for a reproduction. Luckily it can be restored. Hereby the anti-greetings to the fools, idiots, dimwits, schmucks, numbskulls, peabrains who did this!!!! |
