From the very start of their venture I've been supplying my friends Justin and Alison of Borrel in Toronto with illustrations and art work. I've seen them grow from strength to strength with their Dutch food pop-ups at some of Toronto's hippest bars. After several sell-out events they decided to take the plunge and start their own bar/restaurant!
This Saturday 18 March I will be traveling up to Liverpool with my good friends of Annexe The Moon for a special late opening of the Tate Liverpool Café. There will be live music, cocktails and general good times, and I’ll be providing music before, in between and after the bands.
A while back I was asked to create some artwork for the "melodic Psych-Scousepop" band Annexe The Moon. And now it's out on Great Sheiks Music: their first single 'Ever Meaning Less'.
