The infographic explains in a friendly way how data will be collected anonymously through the Sidewalk Labs project in Toronto and how this accurate, real-time data will be used by Urban Equation to create sustainable new communities and to transform existing communities around the world.
Sidewalk Labs — the urban-innovation arm of Google’s parent company, Alphabet — are building a high-tech neighborhood of the future on Toronto’s waterfront. Called Quayside, the neighborhood will be designed to prioritize “sustainability, affordability, mobility, and economic opportunity.”
